Every two years Milan gives us HOST, the week-long conference where Europeans flock to see what’s trending in the hospitality industry. Coffee always makes a strong showing (this is Italy, after all), and it’s great to see international producers, importers and coffee roasters all coming together in the land of espresso.
I’m here to meet with clients and friends … and to drink a lot of coffee, naturally. HOST cannot be beat for its presentation of European coffee culture as it evolves.
Next week I’ll be in Ancona to give the keynote address at Nuova Simonelli’s Coffee Quality Revolution, a two-day event that will be chock full of amazing coffee education and the chance to meet barista champions, coffee scientists and other interesting folks in a fairly intimate setting. I’ll let you know how it goes.
